i am left chewing the cud of bitter fancies.......
jesus people, that's going to leave a scar. if you had warned me i could have mentioned that i haven't seen my mom in awhile and i'm in no way battle-hardened.
but onto the business at hand. the private correspondence of bev and sue.
a big prairie yahoo goes out to........ SUE. the - what would i do without you sue. big close mouth kisses to you and a big padded envelope full of thanks.
that's right, sue also won the surprise bonus. a selection from the new melissa frances kitchy kitchen line and some of the gorgeous new ribbon from webster's pages.
i'll retreat now

Yay Yay Yay!!!!! I think it was an Act of God myself, 'cause I'm the only one (besides Jim) that really appreciates this prize and the intellectual and highly entertaining musings of this blogger. You'll all be sorry when she's rich and famous and I get to go on the book tour. Ah ha...that's what I'm saying! Thanks Bevy!!!
ReplyDeleteDid you mail my prize yet?
ReplyDeleteDad saw a streaker run by the house today. Cin asked him if he was completely bare. Dad said "Yup! He was naked as a jay bird!" This is a true story.
ReplyDeleteHome, home on the range....where the deer and the antelope (spelling?) play...where seldom is heard...a discouraging word... and the skies are not cloudy all daaaaayyyyyy......
ReplyDeleteIt's Friday. I have ingested my toast carbs and am working on my coffee. Wish I was in winfield. They have MUCH better coffee there.
ReplyDeleteIt's Monday. It's 8:36am (5:36am Winfield time). It's time for my shower and prozac. Like they say on Oprah, I work to live ...except I am only getting about 1% of "live" time. I prozac to work to live 1%.
ReplyDeletehmmm...bill...bill...bill...huh? What's this? (sounds of rip and tear) Yay! Yay! Yay! My parcel has arrived!! My parcel has arrived!! ahhhh, BEAUTIFUL!! The contents are more wonderful than I could have ever imagined and there's sooooo MUCH of it all. I feel creative energy returning to this med-induced, cotton-batting brain of mine. I might make it through January after all. Thank you Bevy!
ReplyDeleteDear Bevy: Once again thank you for your lovely give-away. I had an epiphany yesterday and I have decided that people who do not participate should not have the benefit of our conversations. (This participation = beneficiary feeling is pervasive in my whole life now whether it be work, family, friends, facebook, or even daily life. Catch my drift? Let's delete all my comments and do an Eminem. Pissed-off Sue.
