the saints can't help me now........

mary mother of god, i am so f**ked. spring training is over and mom has come ready to hit some balls. is it too early to start counting day? i love her, i love her, i love her. but as the song says "love hurts"
well i would be hurt if i wasn't so god damn stunned and impressed. that woman's got game.
some topics covered this already this morning.....

childbirth (overheard telling my youngest child., a girl by the way) - when she came out your mother ripped me from stem to stern. and then the doctor said "you have a big girl" a GIRL, i didn't want a girl.

homeschooling (direct hit) - is this what time you get up every morning. could you tell me how my grandchild is supposed to get an education if you're laying a bed half the day.

junkmail and finances (another direct hit) - russell says you throw out the flyers.  (no response needed from me). how do you know what's on sale (again no response necessary). if you ask me that where all this money is going. if you went through the flyers and planned your groceries russell wouldn't have to work so hard

welcome, it's not yet noon on day 1

PS - later today i'm being made to watch jeopardy and wheel of fortune

  5. Hope the visit improves - deep breaths! I have a friend whose mom was just visiting from the UK and commented that her boys had gotten her head, "round, like a soccer ball." What is wrong with these people???

(I remember fondly watching both Wheel. Of. Fortune! and Jeopardy with my grandmother now but they were a huge pain when I was younger and wanted to watch re-runs instead.)

    1. i think visit improvement is unlikely. i feel like my life is a wee off-broadway play. at least mom goes to bed early.

If its any consolation in two weekends Ill have a day with mine, should be mentally exhausting-the last time I spent with her like a month ago that night I dreamt that she had been trying to poison me,it wasnt workig or working fast enough so she decided to outright do it to my face and pulled a gun on me and fired which is when I woke up-Thank God it was the day I saw my councilor. NOW my councilor is going on a 13 wk sabaticle-should be greeeaaatt! lol Hang in there!

  7. I am so glad you found my blog...so I could meander over here. Isn't it crazy how many great blogs are out in the blogasphere and not the easiest thing to find the ones that might become part of an addiction. I love your stuff. I was just reading some of your recent blogs and WOW you are clever. I love the the one "Tough as a nut and as cunning as a wagonload of monkeys". You're writing is genius!

  8. I sit here rubbing my hands together trying to think of a great comment and then relise I don't think of comments I just start typing and see where I end up, maybe that is why I have a habit of rambing in my comments but hell this is me and I am amazing well at least in my own head I am others may not think so but hell what do I can..........ok I can a lot to bloody much and yes I know you are reading this and thinking get to the point Jo-Anne but hell maybe I don't have a point.........lol Ok homeschooling not something I could do don't have the patience kids drive me around the bend and I was glad to see them go to school so I could have some peace.......don't judge me.......ok judge me I can't stop you but still I am a good mummy even if the girls could be so bloody annoying
but now my girls have children and what goes around comes around and I am getting the last laugh.......lol
